Description:
Clamp-Kid Forte Tablet is an antibiotic used to treat a range of bacterial infections in children, including those affecting the ear, nose, throat, chest, lungs, teeth, skin, and urinary tract. It is particularly effective against bacteria that are resistant to other antibiotics and can also be used in the treatment of drug-resistant tuberculosis. The tablet can be given with or without food, although administering it with food is recommended to improve absorption and reduce the risk of stomach upset. Depending on the type and severity of the infection, as well as the child’s age, weight, and overall health, the doctor may prescribe it two to three times a day. It is important to follow the prescribed dosage and schedule carefully. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking the medicine, wait for them to settle and then repeat the dose. However, do not double the dose if the next scheduled dose is near.
Some common side effects of Clamp-Kid Forte Tablet include vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and allergic reactions. These are generally mild and tend to resolve on their own, but you should consult your doctor if they persist or cause concern.
