Crixan 125mg Granules Mixed Fruit is an antibiotic prescribed to treat a variety of bacterial infections in children, including those affecting the ear, throat, teeth, lungs, heart, skin, and gastrointestinal tract. It is also effective in treating infections that may occur in children with HIV due to their weakened immune systems, and can help manage Mycobacterium avium complex (MAC) infections in individuals with reduced immunity.
Crixan 125mg Granules Mixed Fruit works by stopping the growth of bacteria, which helps resolve symptoms and cure the infection. The medicine should be taken orally, ideally one hour before or two hours after a meal. It is important not to take any antacids within 2 hours of taking this medicine. It should be taken regularly at evenly spaced intervals as directed by your doctor. Even if your child feels better, it’s crucial to complete the full course of treatment to avoid the risk of the infection returning or worsening.
Common side effects include diarrhea, nausea, abnormal taste, indigestion, abdominal pain, headache, vomiting, and rash. These side effects are usually temporary and tend to subside after the treatment is completed. If the side effects persist or become bothersome, consult your doctor.
