Description:

Daxid 25mg Tablet is an antidepressant belonging to the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) class of medications. It is primarily used to treat conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders like obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and panic disorder.

Additionally, Daxid 25mg Tablet can be prescribed for premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), which involves depression and irritability before a woman’s menstrual period.

How to Take:
Daxid 25mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose and frequency based on your condition. It is important to follow their instructions carefully. Your doctor may start you on a lower dose and gradually increase it to help manage your symptoms effectively. Do not alter the dose or stop taking the tablet without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better. Stopping suddenly or changing the dose can cause withdrawal symptoms like anxiety, restlessness, dizziness, palpitations, and sleep disturbances, and may worsen your condition.

For optimal benefit, take the tablet regularly at the same time each day. If you have difficulty sleeping, your doctor may suggest taking it in the morning. It may take several weeks before you notice significant improvements. If you don’t see improvement after 4 weeks, inform your doctor.

Common Side Effects:
Some common side effects include nausea, indigestion, loss of appetite, increased sweating, tremors, insomnia, and diarrhea. Sexual side effects such as reduced sexual drive, delayed ejaculation, and erectile dysfunction may also occur.
