This version of Glyxambi also includes Empagliflozin and Linagliptin, but differs in the Empagliflozin dosage. Just like the 10mg/5mg variety, this is used to treat type 2 diabetes.
The Empagliflozin works to excrete excess blood sugar through the urine, and the Linagliptin helps to increase insulin production. This medicine is a tool used to help control high blood sugar. As with all medications used to treat diabetes, doctor supervision is required.
