Description:
Iotim Eye Drop is an ophthalmic medication used to manage elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in individuals with ocular hypertension or open-angle glaucoma. By reducing the production of aqueous humor (fluid in the eye), it helps lower pressure inside the eye and decreases the risk of optic nerve damage and vision loss.
To use Iotim Eye Drop effectively, always wash your hands before applying the drops. Follow your doctor’s prescribed dosage carefully—typically, one drop in the affected eye(s) once or twice a day. If you wear soft contact lenses, remove them prior to instillation and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them. When using multiple eye medications, maintain a gap of at least 10 minutes between applications to ensure optimal absorption.
Use this medicine consistently at the same time each day for maximum effectiveness. Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor, even if your symptoms improve.
Common side effects may include a burning or stinging sensation in the eyes after application. These effects are usually temporary, but if they persist or become bothersome, seek medical advice.
Iotim Eye Drop is not suitable for individuals with certain conditions such as asthma, severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or serious heart disorders. Inform your doctor of any existing medical conditions, including heart disease, diabetes, thyroid issues, or kidney and liver problems. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should use this medication only under medical supervision.
