Description:
Lanzol 30 Capsule is a medication used to decrease the amount of acid produced in the stomach. It is commonly prescribed for the treatment of conditions such as acid reflux, peptic ulcers, and other gastrointestinal issues related to excessive stomach acid. Additionally, it can help prevent ulcers and acidity that may occur due to the long-term use of pain-relieving medications.
Belonging to a group of drugs known as proton pump inhibitors (PPIs), Lanzol 30 Capsule is most effective when taken approximately one hour before a meal, preferably in the morning. The appropriate dosage will be determined by your doctor based on your specific condition and response to the treatment. Even if your symptoms improve quickly, it’s important to continue the medication for the full duration prescribed. To enhance the effectiveness of the treatment, consider eating smaller, more frequent meals and limiting spicy, fatty foods and caffeinated beverages.
Common side effects may include nausea, headache, gas, abdominal discomfort, constipation, and diarrhea. These are typically mild and temporary, but you should speak with your doctor if they persist. Prolonged use of this medicine, especially for over a year or at high doses, may increase the risk of bone fractures. If you’re on long-term treatment, your doctor may suggest calcium and vitamin D supplements to protect bone health.
Before starting Lanzol 30 Capsule, inform your doctor if you have any serious liver conditions, are undergoing treatment for HIV, have a history of allergic reactions to similar medications, or suffer from osteoporosis. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should seek medical advice before using this medicine.
