Meloset Tablet is a prescription medication primarily used for managing insomnia and jet lag, particularly in individuals who experience sleep disturbances due to frequent travel across time zones. It helps regulate the body’s natural sleep-wake cycle by synchronizing the internal biological clock, thereby reducing symptoms such as daytime fatigue, irritability, indigestion, and disrupted sleep patterns.
This medicine should ideally be taken at bedtime, either 2 hours before or after a meal, and at a consistent time each day to maintain stable levels in the body. It is important to complete the prescribed course without missing doses, even if symptoms improve. Do not stop the medication abruptly without medical guidance.
Common side effects may include headache, drowsiness, dizziness, and a feeling of sleepiness.
