Description:
Monotrate OD Tablet PR is a long-acting medication used to prevent chest pain (angina) associated with heart conditions. It works by relaxing and widening the blood vessels, improving blood flow to the heart and reducing its workload. Please note, it is not intended to relieve angina attacks once they begin.
This tablet can be taken with or without food, but it is essential to follow the dosage and schedule prescribed by your doctor. Sticking to a consistent routine helps prevent the body from developing a tolerance, which may reduce the medicine’s effectiveness over time. Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly, as it could increase your risk of chest pain.
