Description:
Nitrofix SR 30 Tablet is prescribed to prevent heart-related chest pain (angina) by relaxing and widening blood vessels, allowing better blood flow to the heart. It is not intended for treating angina attacks once they begin. The tablet may be taken with or without food, and it is important to follow your doctor’s dosing instructions carefully, as the dose may be adjusted based on your response.
Continue taking this medicine regularly, even if you feel well, as stopping it abruptly may increase the risk of chest pain. Adopting healthy lifestyle habits—such as a balanced diet, regular exercise, and quitting smoking—can enhance its effectiveness. Over time, your body may develop a tolerance to the medication, so a specific dosing schedule must be followed to maintain its benefit. Common side effects include headache, flushing, abdominal pain, chest pain, allergic reactions, upper respiratory infections, and diarrhea.
