Description:
Rabium 20 Tablet is a medication that reduces stomach acid production, offering relief from symptoms associated with acid-related conditions, such as acid reflux, peptic ulcer disease, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. By decreasing acid production, it aids in healing and symptom relief.
For best results, Rabium 20 Tablet should be taken one hour before a meal, preferably in the morning. The dosage will depend on your condition and how you respond to the treatment. It’s essential to take it regularly at the same time each day as prescribed by your doctor. Even if your symptoms subside quickly, continue taking the medication as directed. To improve results, consider eating smaller meals more frequently and avoid caffeinated beverages like tea and coffee, as well as spicy or fatty foods.
Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, flatulence, diarrhea, and stomach pain. These are generally mild, but if they persist or become bothersome, consult your doctor. Prolonged use of Rabium 20 Tablet (over a year) may increase the risk of bone fractures, especially with higher doses. Discuss with your doctor how to prevent bone loss, such as taking calcium and vitamin D supplements.
In some cases, long-term use (three months or more) can lead to low magnesium levels, which can cause tiredness, confusion, dizziness, muscle twitches, and irregular heartbeat. Your doctor may monitor your magnesium levels to prevent this.
Rabium 20 Tablet may not be suitable for everyone. Before starting this medication, inform your doctor if you have severe liver issues, are taking HIV medications, have had an allergic reaction to similar drugs, or suffer from bone loss (osteoporosis). Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use. It’s also advisable to avoid alcohol, as it can increase stomach acid production and worsen your symptoms. If this medication causes dizziness or drowsiness, avoid driving or operating machinery.
