Description:
Cilacar 5 Tablet is a calcium channel blocker used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) and reduce the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and other cardiovascular complications. It works by relaxing and widening the blood vessels, which allows blood to flow more easily.
Cilacar 5 may also be prescribed to help prevent angina, or heart-related chest pain. The medication is typically taken once daily, with or without food, preferably at the same time each day. Even if you start feeling better, it’s important to continue taking the medicine as prescribed and not stop it abruptly without consulting your doctor. Common side effects include fatigue, dizziness, headaches, drowsiness, swelling in the feet or ankles, palpitations, and facial flushing. If swelling occurs, elevating your legs while sitting may help, and any persistent symptoms should be reported to your doctor.
