Description:
Foracort 0.5mg Respules 2ml combines budesonide and formoterol fumarate dihydrate, used to treat asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Budesonide reduces airway inflammation, and formoterol opens airway passages. This version of the medicine is inhaled using a nebulizer. It turns the medicine into a fine mist. Medical direction is very important when using this medicine.
The most common side effects include headache, nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort, and respiratory tract infection. If you get there, don’t stop taking it but do talk to your doctor.
You can prevent some of these symptoms by rinsing your mouth and throat with water or brushing your teeth after using your inhaler. There are other, rarer side effects which can be serious. Talk to your doctor if you’re worried about them.
