This medication is prescribed to individuals at high risk of heart disease, including those with peripheral vascular disease (narrowed blood vessels affecting circulation), a history of heart attacks or strokes, irregular heartbeats, or those who have undergone heart procedures such as stenting. It is also used in combination with other medicines for treating heart attacks and certain types of heart-related chest pain, such as unstable angina.
Plaxia 75mg Tablet should be taken at the same time each day, with or without food, to ensure its effectiveness. It is crucial to continue taking this medicine even if you feel well, as stopping it abruptly may increase the risk of a heart attack or stroke.
The most common side effect of this medicine is bleeding, which may present as bruising, nosebleeds, blood in urine or stools (black-colored stools), or heavier-than-usual menstrual bleeding in women. If you experience an injury, you may notice prolonged bleeding. While these symptoms are typically mild and resolve on their own, consult a doctor if they persist or cause concern.
Plaxia 75mg Tablet is not suitable for individuals with active bleeding conditions, such as a stomach ulcer or bleeding in the brain.
