Description:
Sinarest Syrup is commonly prescribed for children to relieve symptoms such as runny nose, cough, sneezing, watery eyes, sore throat, body ache, and fever. These symptoms are typically linked to the common cold, allergic rhinitis (hay fever), and other respiratory tract infections.
The syrup should be administered orally, with or without food. If your child experiences stomach discomfort, it is better to give it with food. Be sure to follow the exact dosage, timing, and method as prescribed by your child’s doctor, since the treatment plan depends on the nature and severity of the symptoms.
Administering Sinarest Syrup at the same time each day can help create a routine, making it easier to remember. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking the dose, you can give the same dose again. However, if it’s almost time for the next scheduled dose, do not double the dose. Although your child may begin to feel better within a few days, it is important to complete the full course of the medicine to ensure the symptoms do not return or worsen.
Some temporary side effects may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, headache, rash, or mild drowsiness. These usually subside as your child’s body adjusts to the medication. However, if any of these symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor promptly.
Before starting treatment, inform your doctor of your child’s complete medical history, including any allergies, congenital issues, or current medications. Disclose any history of liver or kidney problems, blood disorders, heart conditions, respiratory or skin issues, and any birth defects.
