Description:
Tryptomer 50mg Tablet contains amitriptyline, a tricyclic antidepressant medication. Different doses of this medicine are used to treat and prevent various conditions such as depression, neuropathic pain, and migraine in adults.
Amitriptyline works by increasing the levels of certain chemical messengers (neurotransmitters) in the brain, primarily serotonin and norepinephrine, which helps to improve mood and relieve pain. It also has anticholinergic and sedative properties. Tryptomer 50mg tablets are usually taken before bedtime due to their tendency to cause sleepiness.
