Description:
Veldrop Gel is an eye lubricant, commonly referred to as artificial tears, designed to relieve the symptoms of dry eyes, which may result from inadequate tear production. It works by providing moisture and maintaining proper lubrication of the eyes, thereby easing irritation, burning, and discomfort associated with dryness. Veldrop Gel is typically used as needed, following the dosage and instructions provided by your doctor.
When applying the gel, ensure your hands are clean and avoid touching the dropper tip to prevent contamination. If you’re using multiple eye medications, wait at least 5 to 10 minutes between applications to prevent dilution. Do not use the bottle if the seal is broken, and consult your doctor for guidance on long-term use, as it can be safely used over extended periods. Common side effects may include temporary eye irritation, pain, itching, or blurred vision, which usually subside on their own. However, if these symptoms persist or worsen, consult your healthcare provider.
It’s important to avoid activities requiring clear vision, such as driving or operating machinery, immediately after use. Inform your doctor if you have a history of eye conditions like glaucoma, and avoid using this gel while wearing soft contact lenses. If signs of an eye infection develop during use, seek medical advice promptly.
