Product Description
AF 150 Tablet DT is used to treat fungal infections in various parts of the body, including the mouth, throat, vagina, and nails (both fingernails and toenails). It works by destroying the fungal cell membrane, which inhibits the growth of fungi and helps clear the infection.
You should take AF 150 Tablet DT exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It should be swallowed whole and can be taken with or without food. The dosage and duration of treatment depend on the specific condition being treated. In some cases, the treatment may be prescribed in cycles of use and non-use. To achieve the best results, take the medicine at evenly spaced intervals and continue the treatment until the entire prescribed course is completed, even if your symptoms improve before finishing the medication. Stopping treatment too early can result in the infection returning, and missing doses increases the risk of developing fungal strains that are resistant to treatment. If you notice that the infection does not improve or worsens, inform your doctor.
The most common side effects of AF 150 Tablet DT include stomach pain, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, headache, and nausea. If you experience any of these side effects, consult your doctor for advice on how to manage them. If you notice any signs of an allergic reaction, such as a rash, swelling of the lips, throat, or face, difficulty swallowing or breathing, dizziness, or nausea, stop taking the medicine immediately and seek medical attention.
AF 150 Tablet DT should not be taken during pregnancy unless your doctor specifically tells you to do so. If you have a history of heart failure, a weakened immune system (such as HIV/AIDS), kidney problems, or liver issues (such as jaundice), inform your doctor, as this medicine may not be suitable for you. For extended treatments (over a month), your doctor may monitor your liver function. Since this medicine can cause dizziness, avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until you are sure it is safe to do so.
