Description:
Arimidex 1mg Tablet is used alone or in combination with other treatments, such as surgery or radiation, to manage early breast cancer in postmenopausal women. It is also prescribed as a first-line treatment for advanced breast cancer that has spread within the breast or to other parts of the body.
Belonging to the class of drugs known as aromatase inhibitors, Arimidex 1mg Tablet works by reducing estrogen levels in the body. It can be taken with or without food but should be taken at the same time each day for maximum effectiveness. The dosage and duration of treatment depend on individual needs, as determined by the doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water and continue taking it for as long as prescribed.
Common side effects may include hot flushes, nausea, rashes, joint pain, osteoporosis, and weakness. If these effects become bothersome or severe, consult your doctor for possible ways to manage or reduce them.
