Atorlip-F Tablet is a combination medicine used to lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood when lifestyle modifications such as a low-fat diet and exercise have not been effective. By reducing these lipids, the medicine helps lower the risk of heart disease and related complications.
It can be taken with or without food, at any time of the day, but it is best to take it at the same time daily for consistency. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose based on your lipid levels and response to treatment. Since high cholesterol and triglycerides do not typically cause symptoms, it is essential to continue taking the medication as prescribed to prevent worsening of your condition and reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke.
Regular monitoring of cholesterol and triglyceride levels is important while using this medicine. It should be combined with a healthy lifestyle, including a low-fat diet, regular exercise, smoking cessation, moderate alcohol consumption, and weight management.
