Caverta 25 Tablet is a prescription medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence) in men by enhancing blood flow to the penis, thereby helping achieve or maintain an erection. It belongs to the class of drugs known as phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. The tablet can be taken with or without food and should be used strictly as directed by a doctor. It is typically taken about one hour before planned sexual activity, although the onset time can vary between 30 minutes and one hour. Importantly, sexual stimulation is necessary for the medicine to be effective, and it should not be used if erectile dysfunction is not present. The medication should not be taken more than once in a 24-hour period.
Common side effects include flushing, headache, dizziness, blurred vision, muscle pain, stomach discomfort, and rash.
