Description:
Dolo 650 Tablet is a paracetamol-based medicine widely used to relieve pain and reduce fever. It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever and discomfort. Commonly prescribed for headaches, migraines, toothaches, sore throats, period pain, arthritis, muscle aches, and symptoms of the common cold, it became one of the most frequently recommended medications during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dolo 650 should be taken as directed by a doctor, preferably with food to minimize stomach upset.
It may be taken alone or along with other medications, but should not exceed four doses in 24 hours, with at least a 4-hour gap between doses. Side effects are rare but may include nausea, vomiting, or mild stomach pain. Inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney issues or are on other medications. It is generally safe for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, but it’s always best to use the lowest effective dose for the shortest necessary duration.
