Description:
Dutas T Plus Capsule PR is a prescription medication used to treat men with an enlarged prostate gland (benign prostatic hyperplasia). It is a combination of two medicines that work together to improve urinary flow, reduce the urge to urinate frequently, and ease other related symptoms. However, it is not intended to prevent prostate cancer.
The capsule can be taken with or without food but should be taken at the same time each day for maximum benefit. It’s important to follow your doctor’s instructions and not skip doses, even if you feel better. While some patients may start noticing symptom relief within 4 weeks, it may take longer for others. If there’s no improvement or symptoms worsen, consult your doctor.
Common side effects include decreased libido, impotence, breast tenderness, and ejaculation problems. You may also feel dizzy or drowsy, especially when you first start taking the medication. If any of these side effects persist or become bothersome, inform your doctor.
Dutas T Plus Capsule PR is not meant for use by women or children. Before starting the medication, let your doctor know if you have any history of low blood pressure, liver, or kidney disease. It’s also important to inform your doctor of any other medications you’re taking, as interactions may occur. Men with partners who are or may become pregnant should use protection during intercourse, as the medication can be absorbed through the skin. Additionally, regular monitoring of blood pressure may be recommended. Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine, as it may increase the risk of dizziness.
