Description:
Femilon Tablet is a combination medicine used primarily for contraception (preventing pregnancy) and for managing irregular menstrual cycles. It works by preventing the release of an egg from the ovaries and blocking fertilization by sperm. Additionally, it may help reduce the risk of developing ovarian cancer.
How to Use:
Femilon can be taken with or without food, but it’s important to take it at the same time every day for maximum effectiveness. Start taking the tablet on the first day of your menstrual cycle and continue daily for a month. Begin the next pack immediately after finishing the current one.

If you vomit within 4 hours of taking a dose, take another tablet.

If you miss a dose and are more than 12 hours late, use a condom during intercourse for the next 2 days to ensure protection.

Some women may also experience spotting, missed periods, or bleeding between cycles. If these issues are frequent or prolonged, speak with your doctor. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience symptoms like chest pain, shortness of breath, pain or swelling in the limbs, or vision changes, as these may indicate a blood clot.

Before using Femilon, inform your doctor if you:

Have or had cancer of the uterus, cervix, or vagina
Also, disclose all other medications you’re taking, as some may interfere with how Femilon works. This medicine should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Your doctor may recommend regular monitoring of blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar while on this medication.
