Flexon Suspension is a pediatric medication that combines two active ingredients—ibuprofen and paracetamol—both of which are classified as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). For safe and effective use, it is important to administer Flexon Suspension exactly as prescribed by your child’s doctor. The medicine should be given orally, preferably after meals, to minimize the risk of stomach upset. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking a dose, you may repeat the same dose. However, if it’s close to the time for the next dose, skip the repeat and continue with the regular schedule. Avoid exceeding the recommended dosage, as overdosing may lead to adverse effects.
Some children may experience mild side effects such as nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhea, or heartburn. These are usually temporary and tend to resolve as the child’s body adjusts to the medication. If symptoms persist or worsen, seek medical advice promptly.
