Description:
Forcan 150 Tablet is used to treat fungal infections of the mouth, throat, vagina, and other parts of the body, including fingernails and toenails. It works by killing fungi through the destruction of the fungal cell membrane, thereby stopping their growth.
Take Forcan 150 Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It should be swallowed whole, and you can take it with or without food. The dosage and duration of treatment will vary depending on the condition being treated. Sometimes, treatment is given in cycles of use and non-use. To maximize the benefits, take the medicine at evenly spaced intervals and complete the full course of treatment, even if symptoms improve before the prescription is finished. Stopping treatment too early can lead to a return of the infection, and missed doses can increase the risk of resistance to treatment. If the infection does not improve or worsens, contact your doctor. Avoid taking antacids within one hour before or two hours after taking Forcan 150 Tablet.
Common side effects may include stomach pain, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, headache, and nausea. You can discuss with your doctor about ways to prevent or reduce these effects. If you experience signs of an allergic reaction, such as rash, swelling of the lips, throat, or face, difficulty swallowing or breathing, dizziness, or nausea, stop taking the medicine immediately and consult your doctor.
Do not take Forcan 150 Tablet if you are pregnant unless advised by your doctor. Inform your doctor if you have a history of heart failure, a weak immune system (e.g., HIV/AIDS), kidney problems, or liver problems (such as jaundice). This medicine may not be suitable for you. If your treatment is longer than a month, your doctor may monitor your liver function. Since this medicine may cause dizziness, avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.
