Description:
Glucomol eye drops contain timolol, a beta-blocker, used to treat glaucoma. It works by lowering the pressure inside the eye by reducing the production of fluid. This helps prevent damage to the optic nerve. It is a prescription medication, and must be used under strict doctor supervision. Use only as directed by your eye doctor.
Always wash your hands before using Glucomol 0.5% Eye Drop. Use only the number of drops that your doctor has prescribed. If you wear soft contact lenses, remove them before using the drops and wait for at least 15 minutes before putting them back in.
If you are also using other eye medicines, wait for at least 10 minutes before using them. Read the leaflet that comes with the medicine for a full guide on how to use the drops and get the most benefit. Do not touch the tip of the dropper or bottle with anything as this may lead to infection.
