Description:
Glytears Eye Drop is an eye lubricant, also known as artificial tears, used to relieve the symptoms of dry eyes caused by insufficient tear production. It helps soothe irritation and burning by maintaining proper eye lubrication. Glytears Eye Drop is typically used as needed, following your doctor’s instructions on the number of drops to apply. It’s important to wait 5–10 minutes before using any other eye medication to prevent dilution. Always wash your hands before use and avoid touching the tip of the dropper to prevent infection.
Do not use the bottle if the seal is broken. This medication may be needed for long-term use and can generally be used safely for as long as required. Common side effects include temporary eye irritation, pain, itching, and visual disturbances, but these usually subside on their own. If they persist or worsen, consult your doctor. Until your vision clears, avoid driving, using machinery, or any tasks that require sharp vision. While Glytears is unlikely to interact with other medications, inform your doctor if you have a history of glaucoma. Avoid using the drops while wearing soft contact lenses and seek medical advice if you develop an eye infection during treatment.
