Description:
Kenacort New 0.1% Buccal Paste is a steroid-based medication used to treat mouth ulcers by reducing swelling and redness in the affected area. It should be applied directly to the lesion inside the mouth, following the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Always wash your hands before and after application, and avoid swallowing the medication. After applying, refrain from eating, drinking, or smoking for at least 30 minutes to allow the medicine to work effectively. It’s important to complete the full course of treatment even if symptoms improve, and not to use it longer than advised without consulting your doctor. If there is no improvement after 2 to 4 weeks, inform your healthcare provider.
Kenacort New 0.1% Buccal Paste is generally safe with minimal side effects, though occasional irritation at the application site may occur. While interactions with oral or injectable medications are unlikely, you should consult your doctor if you have recently used another steroid-containing cream. Use during pregnancy should be considered only if clearly necessary and under medical advice.
