Description:
Losar-H Tablet is a combination medication used to manage high blood pressure. It contains two active ingredients that work together to lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of serious complications such as heart attacks, strokes, and kidney problems. One component is a diuretic, or “water pill,” which helps the body eliminate excess salt and water, and the other is an angiotensin receptor blocker that relaxes blood vessels.
You can take Losar-H Tablet with or without food, preferably at the same time every day. It’s important to follow your doctor’s instructions closely and continue taking the medicine even if you feel fine, as high blood pressure often has no noticeable symptoms. Since the diuretic increases urination, avoid taking it within four hours of bedtime to minimize nighttime bathroom visits.
Common side effects may include dizziness, tiredness, headache, nausea, diarrhea, and a drop in blood pressure. Frequent urination is expected due to the diuretic effect and is not a cause for concern. If any side effects persist or become bothersome, speak to your doctor—an adjustment in dosage or a different medication may be needed.
Losar-H is not recommended during pregnancy, and caution is advised in individuals with kidney or liver problems, heart issues, or diabetes. Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine, as it may amplify side effects or lower blood pressure further. Always consult your doctor before starting or stopping any medication.
