Description:
Megalis 10 Tablet is a medication primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). For ED, it works by increasing blood flow to the penis, enabling a firm erection during sexual stimulation. In cases of PAH, it helps relax and widen the blood vessels in the lungs, thereby reducing the pressure and improving physical capacity.
This medicine can be taken with or without food, but it’s important to follow your doctor’s exact instructions. For ED, it should be taken approximately 30 minutes to one hour before sexual activity, and it only works if you are sexually aroused. Do not take more than the prescribed dose, and only use it when needed.
Common side effects include flushing, headache, blurred vision, muscle pain, indigestion, nausea, back pain, and respiratory issues. These are usually temporary, but you should speak with your doctor if they persist or cause discomfort.
Avoid taking Megalis 10 if you are on nitrate medications (often used for chest pain), or if you have serious heart or liver conditions, recent stroke or heart attack, or low blood pressure. It’s also advised to limit alcohol consumption and avoid driving or operating machinery if you feel dizzy after taking the tablet. Always inform your doctor about your complete medical history and any other medications you are using before starting treatment with Megalis 10.
