Meloset 10mg Tablet is primarily used to treat insomnia and jet lag, conditions that disrupt normal sleep patterns, often caused by frequent travel across different time zones. It helps restore the body’s natural sleep-wake rhythm and alleviates symptoms such as irritability, indigestion, daytime fatigue, and disturbed sleep.
The tablet should be taken preferably at bedtime, either two hours before or after food, and at a consistent time each day to ensure stable levels in the blood. It is important to complete the prescribed course and not discontinue the medicine abruptly without consulting a doctor.
Common side effects may include headache, drowsiness, dizziness, and sleepiness, so activities that require alertness, such as driving, should be avoided until you know how the medicine affects you.
