Mesacol 1200 Tablet DR is an anti-inflammatory medication used primarily to manage ulcerative colitis, a chronic condition affecting the bowel. It helps relieve symptoms like diarrhea, rectal bleeding, and abdominal pain by reducing inflammation in the colon. It may also be prescribed for Crohn’s ileocolitis, another type of inflammatory bowel disease.
