Mycoderm-C Dusting Powder Sandalwood Fragrance is an antifungal medication used to treat various fungal skin infections, including ringworm, athlete’s foot, nappy rash, sweat rash, and vaginal thrush. It works by destroying the fungal cell membrane, effectively killing the fungi and stopping the infection from spreading.
This powder is intended for external use only and should be applied as directed by your doctor. For the best results, it should be used regularly and consistently. Avoid using more than the recommended amount, as this could increase the risk of side effects. If your condition persists for more than four weeks or worsens, consult your doctor. To enhance its effectiveness, keep the affected area clean and dry, and always wash your hands before and after application. In the case of athlete’s foot, it’s also advisable to wash your socks or tights thoroughly and change your shoes daily if possible.
Common side effects may include mild skin irritation, redness, or itching at the site of application. If these symptoms become bothersome or do not resolve, inform your doctor. In rare cases, a severe allergic reaction may occur, requiring immediate medical attention. Signs of this include rash, swelling of the lips, throat, or face, difficulty breathing or swallowing, dizziness, and nausea.
