Description:
Pantodac 20 Tablet is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that works by reducing the amount of acid produced in the stomach. It is commonly used to treat acid-related conditions such as heartburn, acid reflux, peptic ulcer disease, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It also helps in the prevention of ulcers and acidity caused by the prolonged use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
By controlling stomach acid production, Pantodac 20 Tablet provides relief from associated symptoms and promotes healing of the digestive tract. This medication should be taken approximately one hour before meals, preferably in the morning, and exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Adhering to dietary modifications, like avoiding large meals, caffeinated drinks, spicy, or fatty foods, can further enhance the treatment outcome.
Common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, bloating, diarrhea, and abdominal pain, which are usually mild and temporary. However, long-term use may lead to a higher risk of bone fractures due to potential calcium deficiency.
