Description:
Qutipin 25 Tablet is primarily used to treat schizophrenia, a mental disorder that can cause hallucinations, delusions, and difficulties with thinking and behavior. It is also effective in managing mania and bipolar disorders.
Qutipin 25 Tablet can be taken with or without food. However, it’s recommended to take it at the same time each day to maintain a consistent level of the medication in your body. Follow your doctor’s prescribed dosage and duration. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. It’s important not to stop the medication suddenly without consulting your doctor, as this could worsen your symptoms. However, if you experience symptoms of Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome (NMS) such as fever, muscle rigidity, altered consciousness, or seizures, stop taking the medication immediately and seek medical attention.
Common side effects of Qutipin 25 Tablet may include decreased hemoglobin levels, increased triglycerides, decreased cholesterol, headaches, extrapyramidal symptoms (movement disorders), dry mouth, and withdrawal symptoms. This medication may also cause a sudden drop in blood pressure when changing positions, so it’s important to rise slowly after sitting or lying down. Additionally, Qutan 25 Tablet can cause dizziness and sleepiness, so avoid driving or performing activities that require mental alertness until you understand how the medication affects you. It may also lead to weight gain, but maintaining a healthy diet and regular exercise can help manage this side effect.
Be cautious when using this medicine, as it may increase the risk of developing diabetes. It’s advisable to regularly monitor your blood glucose levels.
