Description:
Raciper 40 Tablet is used to treat conditions caused by excessive stomach acid production, including gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer disease, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It works by reducing stomach acid levels, relieving symptoms, and promoting healing.
Additionally, Raciper 40 Tablet helps prevent stomach ulcers caused by certain medications, such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually on an empty stomach, preferably in the morning or at least one hour before a meal. Even if symptoms improve, continue taking the medicine until your doctor advises otherwise. Long-term use may require regular tests to monitor magnesium levels, as this medicine can lower them over time.
Common side effects include headache, constipation or diarrhea, stomach pain, and nausea. These are usually mild, but consult your doctor if they persist or worsen. Prolonged use may increase the risk of bone fractures. To manage symptoms effectively, avoid foods that trigger discomfort, such as spicy, fatty, or rich foods. Limiting caffeine, tea, coffee, cola, and alcohol may also be beneficial.
Raciper 40 Tablet may not be suitable for everyone. Inform your doctor if you have severe liver problems, are on HIV medications, have a history of allergic reactions to similar drugs, or have osteoporosis. Although alcohol does not directly interfere with this medicine, it increases stomach acid production, which may worsen symptoms. The medication can cause dizziness, drowsiness, or vision disturbances, so avoid driving or operating machinery until you feel well. It is not usually recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
