Rashfree Cream is a dermatological formulation containing benzalkonium chloride and zinc oxide, which helps prevent and treat diaper rash by forming a protective barrier between the skin and the diaper. It is effective against rashes caused by nappies, diapers, and tight clothing while also soothing itching and skin irritation. The cream should be applied as a thin layer to the affected area multiple times daily as needed.
It is generally well-tolerated; however, some individuals may experience allergic reactions such as rash, hives, itching, wheezing, chest tightness, fever, and swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, in which case medical attention should be sought immediately. To ensure maximum effectiveness, wet or soiled diapers should be changed promptly, the diaper area should be cleansed, and the skin should be allowed to dry before applying the cream. Rashfree Cream should be stored at temperatures not exceeding 30°C, protected from moisture, and not frozen. Avoid contact with the eyes and open wounds, and use only externally.
If symptoms persist beyond seven days or worsen, consult a doctor. Before use, inform a healthcare provider about all medications being taken, including prescription drugs, over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements, to avoid potential drug interactions. Keep the product out of reach of children and refrain from sharing it with others.
