Most people with high cholesterol or triglycerides don’t experience symptoms, but stopping this medicine could cause your lipid levels to rise again, increasing your risk of heart attack or stroke. Some common side effects may include nausea, stomach pain, constipation, headache, gas, and muscle pain. These are usually mild and temporary.
