Description:
Silofast D 8 Tablet is a combination medicine designed to treat men with an enlarged prostate gland, helping to alleviate symptoms such as difficulty urinating and the frequent need to visit the toilet. It does not prevent prostate cancer. To ensure its effectiveness, it should be taken at the same time each day as a whole tablet—do not break, chew, or crush it. The prescribed dosage will depend on your specific needs, and you should continue taking it even if you feel well. It may take up to 4 weeks to notice improvements in symptoms, so be patient and inform your doctor if symptoms persist or worsen after this period.
Common side effects include decreased libido, erectile dysfunction (impotence), breast tenderness, and breast enlargement. These side effects can be concerning but are generally outweighed by the benefits of treatment. You may also experience dizziness or drowsiness, particularly when starting the medication. Your doctor will have prescribed this medicine because the potential benefits outweigh these risks.
Silofast D 8 Tablet is not suitable for women or children.
