Description:
Ston 1 B6 Oral Syrup is a combination medication primarily used to treat and prevent the recurrence of kidney stones.
Citric acid and potassium citrate work by increasing urinary pH and citrate levels, which helps to dissolve certain types of kidney stones (like uric acid and cystine stones) and prevent the formation of new ones by reducing the crystallization of stone-forming salts.
Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) is included as it has been suggested to help reduce the formation of oxalate, another component of some kidney stones. The syrup formulation makes it easier to administer and adjust the dosage.
