Description:
TAH 80mg Tablet contains febuxostat, a xanthine oxidase inhibitor. Febuxostat is used to treat hyperuricemia (high levels of uric acid in the blood) in adults with gout. Gout is a type of arthritis that occurs when uric acid crystals build up in the joints, causing pain, redness, swelling, and heat.
Febuxostat works by blocking xanthine oxidase, an enzyme involved in the production of uric acid in the body. By inhibiting this enzyme, febuxostat helps to lower uric acid levels in the blood, which can prevent gout attacks and reduce the long-term damage caused by uric acid crystals.
