Description:
Tazloc 80mg Tablet contains a higher dose of telmisartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), especially in patients who require a stronger dose to achieve their target blood pressure.
Similar to the lower strengths, it works by blocking angiotensin II, leading to the relaxation and widening of blood vessels. This helps lower blood pressure and reduces the risk of cardiovascular events, including heart attack and stroke, as well as managing heart failure and protecting kidney function in some patients. Tazloc 80mg is typically taken once daily, with or without food.
Potential side effects are similar to those of lower doses of telmisartan, such as dizziness, back pain, and sinus inflammation.
