Description:
Tazzle 10mg Tab contains tadalafil, a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. Tadalafil works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. This occurs because tadalafil inhibits PDE5, an enzyme that breaks down cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). cGMP is responsible for relaxing smooth muscle and increasing blood flow in the penis. When PDE5 is inhibited, cGMP levels remain higher for longer, leading to improved erectile function.
Tazzle 10mg is primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED), also known as impotence, in adult men. It helps men achieve and maintain an erection sufficient for sexual activity. Tadalafil is effective for up to 36 hours, which has earned it the nickname “the weekend pill.”
Tadalafil is also approved for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) to improve exercise capacity and symptoms. Additionally, it can be used to treat the signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), a condition in men with an enlarged prostate that can cause urinary problems. However, the 10mg strength is typically used for erectile dysfunction. Higher strengths may be used for PAH and BPH.
