Description:
Telma-CT 40/12.5 Tablet is a combination of two medicines that work together to help manage high blood pressure. By lowering blood pressure, this medication reduces the risk of serious health issues such as heart attacks and strokes.
You can take Telma-CT 40/12.5 Tablet with or without food, but it’s best to take it at the same time every day for consistent results. The dosage is determined based on your specific condition and response to treatment. Since it contains a diuretic (water pill), it may increase the frequency of urination, which is an intended effect to help lower blood pressure. To avoid sleep disturbances due to nighttime urination, it’s advisable not to take this medicine within four hours of bedtime. Continue using the medication even if you feel well, as high blood pressure often has no noticeable symptoms. Stopping the treatment without your doctor’s guidance can increase your risk of complications.
Common side effects may include dizziness, nausea, diarrhea, headache, and changes in blood lipid levels.
