Volibo 0.2 Tablet is a medication used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus. It helps control post-meal blood sugar spikes, especially in patients whose high blood sugar levels are not adequately controlled by other medicines and dietary restrictions alone.
This tablet should be taken just before a meal, and the dose and frequency will be determined by your doctor to ensure effective blood sugar control. Do not stop taking the medication without your doctor’s guidance, as doing so could result in elevated blood sugar levels and increase the risk of serious complications such as kidney damage or vision problems.
Volibo 0.2 Tablet is most effective when used as part of a comprehensive treatment plan that includes a healthy diet, regular exercise, and weight management. It is important to monitor your blood sugar levels regularly while using this medicine.
Common side effects may include flatulence (gas), stomach pain, loss of appetite, constipation, and diarrhea. If any of these side effects persist or become bothersome, consult your doctor. While Volibo 0.2 does not usually cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar levels) on its own, it can do so when combined with other diabetes medications like insulin or sulfonylureas. In such cases, plain glucose should be used to treat low blood sugar, as table sugar may not be effective.
Before starting this medication, inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, or if you suffer from bowel conditions such as ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease, as this medicine may not be suitable for you.
